Being the representative of heterogeneous community like Mushin can be tasking. Could you tell us your challenging moments? One of the challenges I face as one of the representatives of the people of Mushin in the Lagos State House of Assembly, is explaining to my constituents the real reason I am in the Assembly. As a lawmaker, I am to legislate, perform oversight functions and see them to a logical conclusion. Demands in various forms are daily challenging to public office holders in this part of the world, of which you are not an exception. How do you handle the many demands from your constituents? I have been a welfarist long before I joined politics. As a welfarist, I have been rendering assistance to people for many years, even before I became a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, and I derive joy in rendering these assistance and support to people of diverse ethnic, religious and political backgrounds. At times, it’s not a question of money, there are some that want job placements and empowerments in many artisan and vocational skills and acquisitions. AbduSobur Olawale Olayiwola popularly known and called ‘Omititi’, has taken the plunge to provide free school ride boldly branded with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s pictures and his 2023 presidential ambition. The conspicuous inscriptions on the buses read thus: “A.B.A.T Movement, Support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President 2023”. A.B.A.T stands for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in other words, it’s Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Movement. Hon. Olawale Olayiwola represents Mushin Constituency 2 in the Lagos Assembly and sources close to the lawmaker said aside the benefit of easing the transportation challenges pupils and students are facing, the branded buses are also aimed at creating further awareness of Tinubu 2023 presidential ambition among pupils, students and people in general. We further gathered that the lawmaker who is serving his second term in office had in the recent past provided free school ride for pupils and students in his constituency. The Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu branded school bus initiative is said to be in solidarity with the former Lagos state governor’s 2023 presidential ambition. The buses, according to sources will serve pupils and students in Mushin and its environs. A.B.A.T Movement is a movement championed by the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt Honourable Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa for the actualization of Tinubu’s 2023 presidential ambition and fully supported by the remaining 39 Honourable members of the Lagos Assembly.
