The Management of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has bowed to pressure and has asked its embattled Managing Director, Adam Nuru, to proceed a forced leave as the bank authorities commence a full investigation into the paternity scandal that was leveled against him.
According to sources, the recommendation became necessary as the panel probing the allegations insisted that the defendant was not to be present during the period of investigation.
News had circulated on the social media at the weekend about an alleged affair between FCMB staffs Adam Nuru and Moyo Thomas.
According to reports, Moyo had left her (now late) husband Tunde and traveled to the United States only to inform him that two of her kids were fathered by Nuru.
Tunde was said to have suffered a cardiac arrest and died December 16, 2020; two days to his engagement to his already pregnant girlfriend.
News of the story has since gone viral with over a thousand petitions calling for the sack of Nuru.
