Jose Mourinho Reveals What He Needs From His Next Club As He Lands Two Big Jobs – Naijanewsdirect

Former Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho has admitted that his next club will need the “right culture,” but admits he is no rush to make a return to the dugout.

The Portuguese chief was axed by Spurs almost a fortnight ago following a run of indifferent results, which concluded with his side playing out a 2-2 draw with Everton at Goodison Park in his final game in charge.

Since his exit from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was confirmed on April 19, Mourinho has most certainly not been out of the limelight and shying away.

He has posted a series of photographs, reflecting on his managerial career, on his Instagram page, as well as it being confirmed that he will join radio station talkSPORT this summer to be part of their coverage of the European Championships.

With Mourinho planning to step into the world of punditry this summer, it is clear that he has no immediate desire to return to management, something he has now confirmed.

“I have no plans,” Mourinho told the TimesTimes Magazine. “I am going on with my normal life. I feel fresh, I feel calm, I am on holiday.

“I have more time to be doing my homework and analysis. I’ll wait to be back in football.

“Not just for the right club, but for the right culture. Maybe next season is premature, we will see.”

As outlined above, on Friday it was confirmed that Mourinho had agreed to join talkSPORT for their coverage of this summer’s Euros.

The 58-year-old, Portuguese tactician will also work with SunSports and talkSPORT as an expert for the European Championship to be played this summer. He will serve as a columnist for the SunSports while he will join Talksports team on radio for the competition.

On making that decision, the former Spurs chief said: “talkSPORT is the fan’s station and I can’t wait to join in. The Euros will be a fantastic tournament and talkSPORT will capture all the excitement for fans.

“In my discussions with the team, I can feel their excitement for the Euros. I am thrilled to be part of it.”

Mourinho is expected to be part of the commentary team for all three of England’s group games against Croatia, Scotland and the Czech Republic.
