…receives signatures of ninety APC faithfuls in 11 Wards
The race to the green chamber of the National Assembly got ignited in Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, Lagos State as the front line aspirant and former chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Comrade Ayodele Adewale received an audience of All Progressives Congress (APC) faithfuls who gathered in large numbers from across the 11 wards with their party registration slips to append their signature on his nomination form.
Comrade Ayodele was extremely astonished and elated at the large turnout barely few hours of his return from his trip to Abuja when he got the hint that party members were eagerly waiting to sign his form.
This gesture did not come as a surprise to many considering Comrade Ayodele’s contributions to the development of his constituency, and his absolute loyalty to his party APC over the years.
Comrade Ayodele applauded the initiative of the leaders, youths and women from Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency who defied the heavy downpour to gather at his office and assured them of his readiness to serve once he clinches the House of Representative ticket under the APC Party.
Comrade Ayodele Adewale is the life patron of the Nigerian Automobile Technician Association (NATA). He was a former President of Lagos State University Students Union Government and National Publicity Officer of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS); former Mobilisation and Liaison Officer of the Pro-National Conference Organization (PRONACO) led by Chief Anthony Enahoro (CFR), Dr. Beko Ransom-Kuti and Prof. Wole Soyinka.
Comrade Adewale is the most popular person amongst all the aspirants in the constituency; his knowledge of the community; team spirit and track record of performance while he was Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin local government will help the Party to win the election from the PDP.
Comrade Adewale is also an Awori Prince, one of the 15th generation of Olofin the founder of Awori Lagos.
