There is strong indication that the All Progressives Congress (APC), presidential candidate for the 2023 polls, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu may unveil former governor of Borno state, Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate on Monday.
Naijanewsdirect gathered that Tinubu had finally picked Shettima as his running mate after series of consultations with the Northern political stakeholders.
This medium learnt that the critical stakeholders finally accepted Shettima’s choice despite several efforts by some North West APC leaders to make governor Nasir Elrufai Tinubu’s running mate.
It was gathered that the vice presidential candidate will be unveiled to President Muhammadu Buhari, who is the leader of the party in his hometown in Daura, Katsina State on Sunday (today).
