Top musician, Wunmi Obe of the T.W.O fame got more than she bargained for at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) on Monday, 16th December, 2019.
The musician landed at the MMIA from her trip abroad at about 6:30am, she was at the MMIA between 6:30am – 7:15am. Immediately she walked to the arrival terminal of the MMIA, she was entangled in a case of mistaken identity as the chorus Teni, Teni, Teni rented the air.
Obviously she was mistaken for the fast rising female artiste, Teniola Apata popularly called Teni.
On her Facebook page, Wunmi Tunde Obe shared her experience thus:
“Walked to the arrival terminal of the MMIA this morning (16th December, 2019), and shouts of “Teni!” rent the air.. I wonder why..🤔”
