Barely seven months after his election into the Lagos State House of Assembly as member representing Kosofe Constituency II, Hon. The Lagos state government has been at the forefront of revamping and standardizing the level of education in Lagos and as Honourable member of Lagos Assembly representing the good people of Kosofe Constituency II which comprises Agboyi-Ketu and Isheri-ikosi LCDAs, I believe the onus is on me to complement and support the commitment of Lagos state government in making sure that the primary school pupils have enough writing materials to perform their responsibilities, hence the provision and distribution of these sets of chairs and tables and more are still coming. “I will make this “Sit and Write For Your Future” programme a yearly event, and I will also make available an 18-Seater bus for the pupils before their resumption in September, 2021.” Hon. The beauty of every election is contesting. However, casting our ballot for the right candidate puts the icing on the cake. I have thoroughly engaged virtually all Residents Associations, CDCs, CDAs and critical stakeholders in my constituency. I can make bold to say that i am well abreast of challenges we face in our respective communities. My principles to proffer solutions on assumption of office is never in doubt. I am passionately concerned about giving these challenges a facelift through bills, motions, policies and parliamentary lobbying, thus improving our living conditions. When this is done, we can cherish the sweetest reflection that our vote was never lost. Vote for Passion! Vote for Principle!! Vote for Femi Saheed!!!
Our vote is precious. It is the most powerful non-violent tool we have in every democratic society. Democracy itself is not a spectator sport where people gather to be entertained. Democracy involves active participation of citizens who are within the voting age. Twenty one years of democratic governance in Nigeria, there is no gainsaying that our democracy is gradually leaving the nascent stage. If we do not vote, we lose the right to complain. As we gradually approach the bye-election which comes up on Saturday, 5th December, 2020, i urge every resident of Kosofe Constituency II to come out and vote. Voting is not only our right, it is our power. Lagos State House of Assembly, Kosofe Constituency II Vote APC Vote Femi Saheed
