As the protest against Police brutality continues across Nigeria, one of the most talk about foundation with human face own my Dr Siju Iluyomade, Arise Women has once again stepped out to identify with the Nigerian youth to call for end to police oppression and brutality.
The protest which has been going on in the last one week with the tag #ENDSARS & #ENDSWAT has crippled major activities majorly in Lagos and Abuja with the protesters insisting not to leave the street until justice is served to victims of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad SARS and other police brutality.
Though the Inspector General of Police Muhammed Adamu has announced disbandment of SARS due to the agitation replacing it with Special Weapon Tactics Team SWAT, but the Youths want some practical steps taken to serve as deterrent to others officers as well as compensation for victims.
