Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke Afa, Isolo, Lagos has urged President Muhammad Buhari to find solutions to the perennial problem of insecurity in Nigeria, while warning that the nation could break-up soon.

Notable for his accurate prophecies over the years, Primate Ayodele stated that the People of Nigeria are crying and that this might cause problem for the government.

Addressing the press during the celebration of World Peace Day and the 75th Anniversary of the United Nations, which coincided with his birthday celebration, in his church premises, Ayodele revealed that insecurity in the nation might cause woes for the government.

“The President ought to handle the problem of insecurity carefully. Why is he keeping the service chiefs, people who are tired. People who do not know the concept of security anymore.

“Nigerians are crying and the President should look for divine intervention into the issue of Boko Haram.

“There are terrorists in Nigeria that could not be defeated in the next 30 years. Nigeria needs divine intervention and the government should discuss with the men of God, not those that will be deceiving them or telling them what they want to hear. Nigerians are sick and of terrorism and bombings.

“The South Easterners may not near the presidency till another life and the Nigerian foundation is shaking,” he said.

The man of God added that President Buhari should not underestimate the Independent People Of Biafra (IPOB), adding that their agenda might come to reality.

He stated that the economy of Nigeria is shaking, and that the government should work with genuine men of God to restore peace into the country.

“In the olden days, in the Bible and even in the Quran, it was recorded that people consulted prophets to get things done. We need peace, and we should put an end to killings in Nigeria.

“The pastors who are working with the government are deceiving them. There are differences between pastors and prophets. Prophets are to seek God and direct our nation right,” he said.

The man of God used the occasion to empower widows, aged and indigents in his church and community.

Apart from cash gifts and scholarship awards that were given out, items such as beddings, toiletries, beverages, television sets were given to the indigent beneficiaries.

In his speech at the event, the representative of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the state, who doubles as the state’s Commissioner for Home Affairs, Hon. Prince Olanrewaju Anofiu Elegushi said that Lagos State would continue to collaborate with the United Nations on its developmental programmes.

“We expect to see a better United Nations in the next 25 years when it would be 100 years old and a UN that is fair and just to all nations.

“It is important for the UN to work with African Nations, especially those with challenges on peace and economy,” he said.

President of International World Peace Advocate, Ambassador Per Stafsen, who flew in from Denmark handed over the UN Peace flag to Primate Ayodele and urged him to continue to promote peace in the country as a respected man of God.

Also speaking at the event, the Mayegun of Yoruba land and popular Fuji Music act, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal aka KWAM 1 said that he attended the event to appreciate God in the life of Primate Elijah Ayodele, adding that God that has been using him to pray for others.

KWAM 1 stressed that the house of God is meant for calling the name of God.

“The prayer warriors; both Muslims and Christians are the ones making the country to stand.

“We all believe that God is the owner of all things. Primate Ayodele Elijah shows me love. I have been his follower for a long time. God speaks through the old and the young.

“I have been with Primate Ayodele for about 35 years and I never felt bad or disappointed in him. He used to pass messages to me in well written scripts. I might not see him for a long time, but I always want to hear from him because he is always interested in me,” he said.

While confirming that miracles come from God, KWAM 1 urged the people to work very hard so that the miracles God wants for them would come to pass, adding that Primate Ayodele draws him close to God and that he tried to spread the gospel to everyone around him.
