“I Killed My Mum After My Pastor Called Her A Witch”, Woman Confesses – Naijanewsdirect

Blessing Jimoh, a thirty-year-old woman, who was arrested for murder by police in Ondo State, has confessed how she allegedly killed her mother.

Mrs. Jimoh, who was paraded at the Police headquarters in Akure and revealed she killed her mother, mama Ijeoma Odo, on the instruction of her pastor.

She spoke to journalists while been paraded before reporters alongside 13 other suspected criminals over different crime cases within the state.

A native of Enugu State, Mrs. Jimoh purportedly hacked her mother to death with a cutlass after her pastor informed her that she was a “witchcraft”

She added that her pastor also told her that her mother was the one who once inflicted her with madness during her trial times.

According to her, “My pastor told me that my mother was witchcraft and she was the one behind my insanity.

“So after appealing to her and there were no changes, I have to cut her cutlass and kill her”, she explained.

In a related development, the police in the state also paraded twelve other suspects.

The offenses of the suspects rang from robbery, kidnapping, murder, burglary, and rape.

Speaking on the arrest of the suspects, the Commissioner of Police in Ondo State, Mr. Bolaji Salami noted that the arrest is part of the achievements of the command within February and March 2021.

Mr. Salami explained that “a few days ago, the command paraded twenty young Nigerians who have for some time now made the Owo axis of the State a theatre of absurdity by their killing and counter-killing of one another in the name of cultism”.

He assured residents of the state that days of criminals in the state are numbered, except they retract their steps as the Nigeria Police, other security agencies, and the good people of the state will not cohabit with criminals.

The Ondo Police boss noted that after the evaluation exercise, those that have cases will be arraigned before the courts.
